Avoid taking white food as they are full of carbohydrates. Replace sugar and white rice, white flour with brown rice and whole grain flour.
Use skimmed milk instead of full cream milk as it is high in calcium and low in calories.
Try to eat slowly as you will feel contended in your meal.
Prefer flavorings like hot sauce, salsa, Cajun seasoning rather than butter and creamy or sugary sauce.
Try to replace fruit juice with fruits as a whole. Fruit juices are high on calories.
After every two hours stand up and walk around the corridors f your house or office for at least five minutes. This will keep your body active.
Try to avoid high calorie food in the evening as it gets less time to digest as you have to sleep at night and the digestion at night is not very fast.
