The study was done on more than 11,000 adults. All were asked about their lifestyle behaviours, family medical history and brushing habit.

Health Tips: Happy married life can prevent from stroke

Happy Married LifeAccording to a new study, spending life with a loving wife can reduce the risk of dangerous stroke in men.

In this research scientist found that unmarried man and unhappy married ones had 64 percent more chances to die from stroke in comparison with happy married men. The conclusion of this study was that absence of marital happiness can lead you to death.

This study was conducted by the Tel Aviv University covering data pf 10,059 Israeli male middle-aged civil servants.

Inadequate sleep can lead to obesity

Inadequate sleep lead to obesityA new study suggests that inadequate sleep van lead you to childhood obesity, especially among boys.

The research, presented at the Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) annual meeting said those children who don’t get enough sleep may gain weight.

This study was done on 723 adolescents of average age 14.7 years. Researcher calculated that how long they slept in night and on weekends, and how soon they experience sleep problems. They also confirmed the youths about the foods they took on last day to calculate how many calories they consumed.

To measure activity, participants wore accelerometers on their belts for seven days. Unlike pedometers, which count the number steps walked, these highly specialized devices measure movement on three different planes. In addition, the wearer cannot see any data on how active they are. Children’s body mass index (BMI) and percentage of body fat was also measured during this research.

Research result was showing that shorter sleeping time was related to higher BMI mainly in boys. This can lead them to dangerous obesity.
