Herbal medicines can be poisonous
If herbal medicines are taken in a larger amount, inserted or joint with prescription drugs that can prove potentially fatal that experts have warned.
Professor Roger Byard of University of Adelaide has highlighted the highly poisonous nature of many herbal materials that often incorrectly has considered safe. The forensic pathologist said that “it’s a false observation that herbal medication are safer than manufactured ones, well in fact many of them contains dangerous absorption of arsenic, mercury and lead.
All these substances can easily cause serious illnesses, health troubles or results in death that particularly taken in excess or inserted rather than ingested. The professionals also warned against the risks that arising from the interaction between herbal medicines and instruction drugs that can lead severe health damages. These health issues include liver, renal and cardiac failure, movement disorders, muscle weakness and spasm. Professor Byard also concluded that herbal medicines are frequently mixed with standard drugs that are most probably making them more effective.
